Homework Policy

Third grade teachers support the fostering of independence, responsibility, study skills and creativity through nightly homework assignments. 

Assignments may include practice, review, application, extension, and/or reflection, and are expected to be returned on time.  Children are also encouraged to read nightly, and/or be read to by parents.

A typical night's homework for third graders is thirty to forty minutes.
